Way better than I thought

The package arrived today, and it was heavy. Turns out, this thing has 5 parts that are plastic, and those things are knobs and the handle and the whatever you call the sleeve where the router mounts. And all of those plastic parts are solid, sturdy material. The rest is solid and cleanly machined aluminum. I haven't used it yet, but I'm impressed with the quality of the product.
