I have installed several hundred drawer slides (no joke) and a good jig makes the job much, much easier. Adjustability is the key to making them work. I have used everything from strips of scrap wood to German designed art pieces (so nice, so expensive) and, for ball bearing slides, there is a lot to like here. This jig assembles quickly and easily. There are metric and imperial measurements for getting your drawers perfectly aligned. The rails have strong magnets which are excellent for holding the slides in place during installation. With this jig and a self-centering drill bit, I don't need anything else to get my slides installed. What could be better: I am probably going to 3D print something to help align the jig vertically more quickly. This jig only aligns two slides at a time, and I have yet to build anything with only two drawers. However, that's easily overcome. These are uniquely designed drawer slide guides. They contain scales that allow for consistent distances between slides and between the edge of the cabinet and end the slide. Their magnetic arms firmly hold the slides in place and the clamps hold the jig firmly in place allowing you to insert the screws with both hands available. Though the plastic arms are just 12” long, the magnets are strong enough to hold a 24” slide steady. Also, despite being plastic, they square up nicely when tightened down securely. Drawer Slide Jig with Toggle Clamp I have struggled numerous times to install drawer slides, getting them aligned is always such a pain. This tool changes that! With this tool, I can set the height of the first slide above the floor of the cabinet, install the slides on both sides, and then work up from there, using the previously installed slides as a height reference for the nest set. On cabinets where I need the first set of slides higher than this tool allows (such as putting drawers above a cabinet door), I just use a piece of wood cut to the correct height as a space and work from there. The installed slides are even and level, allowing the drawers to open and close freely. I would 100% recommend this tool if you work with installing drawer slides, it is easy to use, and provides excellent results.

This jig really helps to get precise installation of drawer tracks, especially when it's not something you do very often. I got this because I was remodeling some kitchen cabinets and trying to customize some things, but without precious experience this made it so I could easily get everything installed and aligned perfectly.
