Levoite™ Precision Drill Guide & Concealed Hinge Drill Guide

I do not have a shop so my projects are done inside on a table or outside where ever. I used to have a woodworking shop at my previous house and I do miss my regular shop tools.

I find the accuracy to be good. Stores small, lightweight but solid and well designed. Well designed useful base with V groves for round stock. For small projects and portability this Drill guide does well.

Would I buy it: Yes. Would I recommend it: Yes. It is Not a drill press, but it does a good job for it's capabilities. Even when I buy another drill press, this drill guide will still be worth having.

I bough this to build some cabinets where there are a lot of holes that need to be perfectly straight into mdf panel edges. I am very impressed by the build quality and overall feel. It keeps the drill straight and makes it much easier to drill precise vertical holes compared to freehand drilling. The guide is easy to set up and works well with a standard handheld drill. The adjustable depth stop is a nice feature and helps keep hole depth consistent. It’s especially useful for light woodworking projects, shelving, dowels, and other jobs where accuracy matters.

The quality of this portable drill guide is high, featuring a solid construction and a 1/2" chuck that provides the stability and precision needed for straight drilling.

I do love that it is red aluminium because I just like the color but that has no impact on the functionality at all. Just a neat little detail that makes it feel well thought out and put together. If they were cutting corners then they wouldn't bother to do anodize it at all so it makes it feel higher quality

I always struggle trying to keep a drill straight when drilling through anything thick. Thin material doesn't matter as much but it's frustrating to try and be precise and then have the hole at a weird angle that doesn't even make sense. So far this drill guide has worked well. The one i received looks identical to the listing, it feels and looks well made. The chuck is held in place well and I haven't noticed any slop or wobble in it even when the guide is sliding up and down.

This product is incredibly well machined. It feels like a premium product. I'm satisfied, nothing rattles or has play.
