The key factor is the shim on our Cabinet Hardware Jig. They provide a guide for the drill bit, keeping the drill placement exact when spanning the gap between the back of the jig and the inset panel of the shaker drawer front.

ADJUSTABLE AND ACCURATE POSITIONING
Position holes spaced 2 1/2", 3", 3 1/2", 4", 4 1/2", 5" apart, with a hole diameter of 4 mm and 6.7" up and down. 

Note : It can not only drill holes with spacing of 2 1/2", 3", 3 1/2", 4", 4 1/2" and 5", but also drill holes with other irregular spacing within 2 1/2'' to 5''.
