It’s a really good mallet. Very mallety. Durable Polycarbonate(?) surface resists damage to both mallet and tool. Great weight, easy in the hand. Perfect for driving a chisel.

Hardwood handle has good grip. This type of mallet is the best for wood, where you don't need a really strong force to cut through the material, and it's lighter hitting.

A good tool, much better than almost any other kind of hammer or mall since the cylindrical face of this mallet insures a solid hit nearly every time so it's automatically giving you a better sense of control and much greater accuracy.
