Levoite™ 35MM Concealed Hinge Boring Jig

Pro version, this jig is all metal, which makes it a bit improvement over plastic jigs that can shift or twist. The screw-hole guide is a welcome improvement that makes precise placement easier. It allows for an offset, which also results in more accurate hinge placement. The depth stop keeps a perfect hole from turning into a disaster, especially when you consider that most cabinet holes are just barely thicker than the hinge cup.

I used this jig for installing cabinet door hinges and it worked really well. The clamp holds it firmly in place and the holes come out clean and accurate. Definitely saved me time on my project.

This is a great device, that made installing cabinet hinges very easy and quick. The measurements and hole placement are simple adjustments with this tool. The device is durable and very easy to attach to cabinets.

Very nice! Easy to use. Vaccum didn't work for me but being able to easy upgrade my cabinets added a lot of value to my kitchen cabinets.

Simple to use, straight forward device. Just set it for the max depth you can go, place the backstop to limit the distance from the edge, set the clamp and drill till it bottoms out on the tool stop. Then you drill whatever screw pilot holes match your hinges, remove the tool, and screw in your hinge. Simple, accurate, repeatable, and long lasting. Definitely a tool you'll keep around and use over the years when needed.

Worked great for drilling the hinge holes in mdf to make new cabinet faces for our kitchen.

The last time I installed hinges on cabinet doors I used a cardboard template which worked fine. But, this jig just makes the job easier and just more, what?, simple, solid, convenient. A good jig is worth - you name it! And this one does it!

I got this for kitchen project that we are doing to set the hinges for the kitchen doors. This is really easy to use the drill worked quickly and easily and held the edge through the project with no problem. It worked very well for the price that we paid. My son has a cabinet maker couldn't bring all those tools with him in this worked to his satisfaction.

This is a non professional cabinet maker review. I do not do this for a living but I do dable a bit in wood working and this product is built sturdy. The base seems to be made of an aircraft grade aluminum making it tough and light weight, The Clamp holds firm to the working piece and the bit drills a nice smooth hole for the hinge. The only advice I have when using this is to take it slow and let the bit slowly remove the wood else if you force it down too fast it will jerk and grab making the hole rough and possible even jumping the tool off the working piece itself but this works wonderfully when used slowly and when clamp arm is adjusted to the correct holding pressure. Makes installeing the hinge a breeze.
