Very good tool that will last for the rest of my life.

I cant imagine liking a spokeshave more than this one. The screws are substantial and the blade is super thick should last a really long time. Makes the cheap one i had look like trash. This thing is great. I dont think a better value is available, prob better than the Stanley one everybody praises.

This spoke shave is the perfect size to add to my shop tools. I have several that are larger for more heavy-duty jobs, but this one is great for the smaller ones, like shaping guitar necks and headstocks. for more accurate and detailed shaving, and for reducing the amount of material removed in each pass. I was able to use the tool right out of the box, though I will sharpen it before I apply it to project wood.

After a quick sharpening of the blade, the shavings were flying perfectly. A pleasure to use.
