Woodworker Adjustable Spokeshave

This spoke shave is the perfect size to add to my shop tools. I have several that are larger for more heavy-duty jobs, but this one is great for the smaller ones, like shaping guitar necks and headstocks. It is adjustable both in-plane and pitch for more accurate and detailed shaving, and for reducing the amount of material removed in each pass. I was able to use the tool right out of the box, though I will sharpen it before I apply it to project wood. Pictures attached display the various shavings and thinness. Note that you can see the red of the lighter through the shaving. I also like that it is easy to disassemble for storage. All materials seem to be of good to very-good quality. All joints and fittings are tight and well-aligned. For the price, this is an excellent tool.

These tools filled a needed item in hubby's workshop and he's happy to have them and quite satisfied with the quality of the spokeshaves.

The tool is very well built and easy to assemble. Blades are very sharp right out of the box and easy to adjust. You probably won't use this tool on every project, but when you need to , you'll be glad you have it.
