Levoite™ Precision Drill Guide

I picked this up to improve accuracy when drilling straight holes, and it has been a solid addition to the shop. The overall construction is very good, with smooth vertical travel and tight tolerances that keep the drill aligned. The guide slides cleanly without noticeable play, which makes it easy to drill holes that stay square to the surface.

For the money, this drill guide offers good value if you want better accuracy without dedicating space to a full drill press.

The concentricity is quite good. Furthermore, a longer stroke is definitely preferable; the extra length allows it to brace firmly against the hand drill, so there is no need to worry about recoil.

Works great keeps drill bit square. If you need an efficient manual vertical drill jig, this is perfect. But you have the cash want a quality piece of equipment buy it.

This drill guide is entirely aluminum, and has fairly decent build quality. I was debating if I should get this or get a cheap drill press from Harbor Freight. I decided to go with this as it's more portable. It's very sturdy and allows good precise drilling without any wobbling. It's pricey but I'm happy with the purchase.
