Excellent product,I have only used this jig twice. I have had it only for a month. It works very well, and it'll save you lots of time and angst! It is well-built and precision-made. It comes with dowels, but you'll need lots more because you'll start to use dowels for joining lots of wood projects, I think.

This set comes with a nice case. It is heavy duty and the parts are easy to assemble and adjust.the doweling jig's construction is 1st rate and made of aluminum.

Perfect holes every time,Perfect holes and dowels fit very well for side by side joint. Tried some other item from other place did not work. This was perfect.

I just want to add this review in support of this tool. I have at least 3 other doweling "solutions," and this jig is the only one that works. It is easy to setup, easy to use, and your dowels always lineup.I grant it's a bit expensive, but it's a precision tool and, in my book, well worth the money. Buy it; you won't regret it.

Amazing system, incredibly accurate, you do have to learn how to use it though. Its not complicated,Everything on it is to the highest quality, fit and finish are exceptional. Worth your money.

Everything about this is truly excellent... Very heavy duty, very accurate, seems built to last a long time. I've only used it once so far, but it's the finest jig I've ever used. No wobble, no wiggle; once you clamp it in place your holes will be exactly where you want them.

The case is cool, but the metal components of the jig are what excited me the most. It feels strong, it feels solid, and it feels like you can do some real work with it.Well built and would have gotten a five star however, as far as accuracy is concerned, it is accurate enough for basic doweling.

I was very interested in the DowelMax, but after reviewing this one, coupled with the reviews posted, I opted to purchase it. And, I'm very pleased that I did. I believe it to be superior to any of the other dowel jigs that I've seen. The fact that it is a metric based jig is, in my opinion, a big plus. It allows for easier calculations for centering, offsets, reveals and etc. Dowels are readily available on the internet and you can probably substitute a 5/16-inch for an 8 mm dowel. The unit is 'tight' with no play in the components. It also supports FIVE holes for identical sized dowels with each positioning. All in all, I am more than satisfied with this product. It is full-featured, accurate, very well manufactured and surprisingly simple to operate.

Great for creating repeatable holes for sturdy joinery,I try a few different versions of this product before buying this one and i sent them all back this product is fully adjustable and very accurate .This is really a great jig, works much better than the 'Stanley' type jigs on here(have one of those as well) and saves heaps of time.I have done ×/- 30 dowels with it so far, and all of them were spot on with minimum setup.I highly recommend this product
