Best Diamond Sharpening Stone Set of 2025 for Chisels and Plane Blades

The set is beautiful and is a dream out of the box. I have been using these for weeks now and have had no issues with sharpening and no decline in outcome regardless of what the substrate now looks like. Just use your fingers, lol, its there. So look for me, Wu Tools just put in a little extra everything into their work. I love it

Diamond Stone Sharpener they always do amazing, cut wonderfully for about three years of daily use and the finer grits can last for five or more years. Honestly they could probably go much longer for the occasional user or someone that doesn't need peak performance all the time out of their stones. I kept the older stones and use them as lapping plates/ reference surfaces. They stay flat, are easy to clean, are the right size and rigidity, and are easily lubricated with diluted Windex. I have tried a few other diamond stone brands and they do not last as long as these ones or are not flat. I would have a very hard time switching to any other brand or sharpening material if this were ever discontinued. I don't usually give so much praise to a single brand but honestly I suspect people using other options simply haven't tried these yet.

Sharpend everything I have great product. These sharpeners are outstanding. Each weighs a couple pounds and they are completely dead flat for perfect sharpening. I use a lot of hand tools with my woodworking—planes, spokeshaves, chisels, and the like. I’ve been using oil stones like Arkansas and Norton stones for years. These do an amazing job sharpening tools, quickly putting an edge on a dulled tool. They have a great “feel” to them as well—it’s pretty easy to tell just by the feel if a tool is sharpened. I can’t recommend these highly enough if you have need to regularly sharpen any metal hand tools.

I REALLY like the efficiency on the system. The base doesn't move on the bench while in operation. I find it to be easy to use and found it to be used friendly!

After trying many sharpening systems over 40 years of woodworking, this is my favorite one. The magnetic base is heavy and solid and the diamond plated metallic sharpening plates fit perfectly and snugly into the magnetic base. They are flat and deliver a square mirror finish either by hand or with a sharpening jig. The sharpening plate surfaces are of good size and accommodate even my largest plane blades. I especially like the strop plates(medium & impregnated fine) that give you that highly mirrored finish. Even with a 55 degree frog in my plane, I get super fine transparent shaving in birdseye maple without any tear out! This is one of the most economical systems on the market for what you get and the service for sharpening plate replacement is very affordable & excellent! I highly recommend them
